In short: Very good and friendly marshalls
In full: Yes it was raining, but then it does in November. The organisation was a great improvement on last year although it would have been easier to post chips and numbers surely. Despite the slightly drab urban setting i quite like the course - no major issue but would have been good to do the longer loop first time round. Thanks very much to everyone who turned up in the pouring rain to make the event work so well

In short: Friendly race and well organised onece it had started
In full: Good course and very well marshalled. Good and friendly crowds and a good-sized field. The organisers were overcome by the numbers at the start though. 15 minute delay and really long queues for the bag drop.

In short: Nice and flat and improved on last year
In full: Lovely morning and a good flat course. Has improved since last year, two laps rather than three and on wide tracks at the start rather than skinny paths.

I thought there were enough marshalls and although there was only one water station it's only a 10K! Not having km markers was a problem though - and is my GPS up the spout or was that 200m over 10K?

In short: Isn't it dull when everything goes like clockwork
In full: The pre-race organisation was a shambles (hopeless website, champion chips not arriving, race numbers changing at the last minute) but on the day the organisation was so bad as to be funny - for me anyway. I had my GPS on and so ran 10k in a pretty fast time - it's a good fast course.

But for those who relied on the organisers to be able to manage the basics of marking out 10k and keeping people on the course it was a disaster. So bad that some people even found the chaos amusing.

Will I be back next year? Possibly they were a nice bunch and things can only go up from here.

In short: Course too narrow for 2000 runners
In full: Good race but better in Victoria Park!
