In short: My 3rd and probably last GNR.......
In full: Loved it, although the weetabix I had at 6.30 (due to early bus pick-up) had run out by the 10 mile mark!!! Crowd as ever splendid and the staggered start made the flow a lot better - didn't have to overtake too many walkers this year! Would love to do it again but the expense of the whole weekend, particularly inflated hotel prices make it unfeasable!

In short: The sun shone and the wind blew(a lot!!) for this challenging but enjoyable and well-organised race. Was very tempted to use the donkey in the field at 6 miles to get up the hill!!
In full: Well done marshalls for the fantastic organisation and for preventing us from being run over by the aggressive drivers of Bedfordshire - why won't they wait?!
My first time at Sandy, definitely up for next year but will have to put in some extra hill training!!

In short: Lovely run but where were the marshalls??
In full: Scenery great and a few hills to make this a slightly challenging course.
Great friendly run for beginners, but not a marshall to be seen stood out on the course except at water station and the road crossing point - what would happen if anyone got injured??
Great that we got free entry to safari park afterwards - a "grand day out"!!

In short: Never mind the sore legs - my sun burn is killing me!!
In full: My 2nd year of doing this race - think the novelty and excitement got me round last year . Struggled this year due to the heat (hence sunburn!) and I certainly don't remember all those hills!! Support from the locals great again. First aiders must have had their work cut out but more marshalls to notify of injury/ illness would be useful! No water at start was disappointing. I managed to get water at all stations on the race but know people further back who had none at 9 miles! Good race for beginners as the fantastic atmosphere makes up for all the other problems! Red Arrows got me down the home straight too!

In short: Excellent route along the embankment. Marshalls great!
In full: Missed this race last year and was pleased to see the route had changed as the previous 2-lap course used to be a bit disheartening!! Brilliant atmosphere and excellent marshalls (well done Bedford Hariers). Another special "Race for Life"!!

In short: Brilliant marshalling and more scenic than I had imagined MK would be!
In full: Lots of marshalls along the way - brilliant support. Water stations great - but why such large bottles?- what a waste!! Can't believe it was adidas sponsored, not cheap to enter and not a goody bag in sight. Well organised and scenery better than I imagined. Wish I had done more training though!!
