In short: Great Low Key Race through lovely Hampshire Countryside
In full: Considering the amount of rain we have had in the last month the course was in great shape. Cheerful marshalls, though that may be due to the fact that the sun came out for the first time in weeks, and a really well organised event. Great goody bag; T shirt, towel, banana and balloon to amuse the kids. Will be back next year.

In short: Very Hard Course
In full: Not quite sure why everyone is raving over this event I found it to be a very hard course. I can cope with the hills but I spent the last half of the marathon staring at my feet due to the nature of the trails. Kilometre markers were way out which is not a major issue and what the hell was the compulsorary hat gloves tights and jacket about?

In short: Excellent Race
In full: (20 Mile Challenge) First time at this event; really enjoyed it. The conditions underfoot were challenging given all the rain this month and there are quite a lot of hills. The reward of the hills is the fabulous views from the top of the Downs. Great marshalls and helpers, nice momento, meal at the finish, what more could you want.

In short: 5/10, could improve and needs to listen.
In full: For a first running of the event it was OK. There have been a lot of comments made which I'm not going to add to. Hopefully they will take them onboard for next year, oh and get a running club on the race committee so you know what's important to well the runners!

In short: Good Local Race with PB Potential
In full: This is a good local league race which has serious PB potential even with the small off road parts. Facilities are adequate and organisation is good. What's nice is that the organisers listened to feedback from last year and sorted out minor niggles. Well done.

In short: Excellent, though tough 10k
In full: The first hill seems to get easier every year; perhaps it's because I'm getting slower. The second hill at 5k seems to get steeper every year perhaps it's because I'm getting older. Great Event, well organised and well sponsored so nice momentoes.

In short: Good Club 10 Mile Rice
In full: This is a nice club organised race along a scenic river valley. Resonably quick at the front; the course isn't flat but can bring out some PBs, and a good mix of runners.

There seemed to be quite alot of traffic between 2 and 5 miles though all the drivers I saw were waiting patiently - due credit to the marshalls.

Nice T-shirt as a momento and I'll be back next year.
