In short: Either I suddenly became a quick runner at mile 10, or the marker was wrong!! In full: Having run steady 7:27 splits for the first 6 miles, I was very surprised to run mile 10 in 6:25, more surprised at running mile 11 in 9:02!! I think the marker must have been in the wrong place!!
Overall though, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Having run my first half at Silverstone last week in 1:39:49, was pleased to beat that this week with a 1:38:04 finish. Will definately do it again. Date of review: March 20, 2005
In short: Just got back. Very well organised In full: I thoroughly enjoyed it. Yep it was cold and windy (nobody can do anything about that though!!). The only gripe I would have is that there were no 'parking zones'. Letters, numbers, even colours to give you a clue when looking for your car would be nice. Date of review: March 13, 2005
In short: PB potential In full: This was my first 10k race and i finished in 47:44 so was pleased with that. Good atmosphere through the High St. Nice sized field (about 800 I think) and well organised - will definately run again next year Date of review: October 23, 2004
