In short: excellant and very well organised. In full: For the first race, really well done. Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Could not quite believe how 5000 runners fitted into start. Maybe think about making this area bigger next year. This would help all, the very elite and the slower runners.
Massive number of loos - well done.
Many cheerful marshals in village and one route.
Really great atmosphere.
When number arrived in post i initial thought is that all? Just number, small card with village map on and headgear. However, lots of emailed information sent out regularly. App was really good and even the facility to download ay Village.
A tad expensive. Despite no goody bag at end i think some forgot we did get a headband in race pack.
Will definitely be back next year. This one has great potential to be one of the better bests. Date of review: March 10, 2014
In short: Always well informed pre races by Nice Work as was this one. No problems except perhaps start. Starrt "flag" faced wrong way giving impression race went opposite direction. Date of review: February 18, 2014
In short: well done for coping with weather leading upto race snd especially for keeping us informed. In full: Every one was greeted by happy organisers which makes a difference. I actually preferred the amended course. Nice 25th medal by the way. Date of review: February 2, 2014
In short: A good training run In full: This was also sold to me as a race. Unless you are at the top end and away at the start i cannot see how this can be achieved. Much queuing in places (not just for the loos).
This is first time i had done the `race` and felt pre race organisation was excellent but agree that during race chaotic. Marshall towards end of race preferred talking on his mobile than directing participant.
Could have done with pre water station alerts.
Too large a field for what potentially could have been a dangerous course, especially due to inclement weather.
Goodness knows what real tail runners felt like after walking through sea at end. Can the beach section be changed? Date of review: December 23, 2013
