In short: Great Organisation, Friendly Marshalls, Lots of Water, Isotonic and Gels In full: I've done the old Chester Half Marathon and this is much more professional. Starting on the race course which is a flood plane is always a risk and any more water would have been a disaster. On comment - Would it kill you to put a few chairs out? I had to wait for my wife to finish and had to stand for 40 minutes or sit in wet muddy grass. No much of an option. Date of review: October 8, 2012

In short: A Well Organised Race, PB for me In full: I expected dire scenery, but the park was very nice and the path very traffic free. The finish inside the stadium was a nice touch. The buses were excellent. The less said about the bizarre start, the better. Date of review: November 6, 2006
