In short: Perfection
In full: Abingdon is a wonderful marathon. Well organised on a fast flat course and a stadium start/finish.

For me the goodies at the end are perfect: excellent technical t-shirt, medal, mars bar and water. I wouldn't want anything else.

I would be happy to pay a couple of pounds more to have some bottled (small 330ml) water handed out at one point on the 9 mile lap.

Many thanks to all involved in the organisation of this terrific event!

In short: Very good field of runners on a mainly flat course.
In full: Excellent race, I now have two pbs on this course! The hill at 3k is early enough to be tackled without too many problems. Fingers crossed for less windy conditions in 2012.

In short: Lovely course mostly on country lanes, exceptional value for money, well organised
In full: My second Alton 10 miles, much cooler this time but the hills were just the same! Although it's not a race to grab a pb, I really enjoy it. Nice scenery and well organised.

In short: Another year, same excellent organisation of a fantastic race!
In full: Another excellent Fleet half marathon that was a pleasure to be a part of. I reckon that the course was slightly long as a result of the changes but no matter, even the weather was well organised.

In short: Decent low-key race
In full: With a few minor hills and a couple of tight turns, for me, this isn't an especially fast course. The organisation was good but the towel momento was slightly disappointing. Plenty of water stops if required and a pleasant setting.

In short: A really enjoyable race, excellent organisation, lucky weather!
In full: A highly enjoyable race that was well organsised with a larger than average entry. It is not an out and out quick course but offers a chance of a decent time for those in shape. My only suggestion for improvment would be trying to keep people away from the runners finishing before they reach the grass. Perhaps this area could be cordened off. Thanks F&C.
