In short: Cheeky little hills!
In full: Personally loved it but then I love them hills! A good test of endurance in the run up to Spring marathons - more testing than Wokingham but surprisingly fast. A really strong field of runners, wasn't that chuffed to be told by a marshall at the half way mark that the winner had already romped home but on the whole the marshalls were really friendly...I felt for them in that cold! Set up was great, which you'd expect for £25, but the goodie bags were rubbish. Mars Bar or a banana would have been nice...despite all that was chuffed with my time and will definitely be back!

In short: Another lovely Alchester race...can't wait for next year!
In full: A PB for me so I have no complaints...loved it. As always excellently run by Alchester. Really friendly. Lots of toilets. Top marks!!

In short: Really friendly girls only race - well worth getting up on Sunday for!
In full: Alchester Running Club were super friendly and wonderfully organised. Managed to get a PB but not sure the course is particularly fast (some cheeky little inclines in there). Very pretty route, lovely marshalls and great organisation mean I will be back next year.

In short: Knew it was going to be tough, but wow!
In full: Foul conditions but still a brilliant morning..great organisation meant I had a bit too long to wait around at the start. Thought it would take forever to get my chip and number but all very smooth. Great atmosphere and fantastic marshalls cheering you on. Felt more sorry for them than for us except for on those nasty hills! My first half marathon and so proud of myself and all the other Running Buddies from Thame for storming home in the lashing rain. Bring on next year! Nice tshirt too

In short: Great 10k in a lovely setting, great start to my Sunday
In full: Only my 3rd race but a good one, hill was tough but knew to save some energy for it and then go for it on the downhill. Thrilled to be the 8th lady home.
Queue for the loos was long which meant a rather unrelaxing start. But all in all a great 10k with definite pb potential and the scenery is lovely.

In short: Fantastic race, well done Thame, shame about the heat!
In full: This was my 2nd attempt at Thame and was thrilled that despite the heat I bettered my time from last year. Really well organised and a nice friendly race, not off putting for first timers. I ran with the lovely Running Buddies of Thame so were on our home turf and all managed to get round which was fantastic. Definitely be back next year but will be praying for rain!!
