In short: NOT a race
In full: We were advised on the start line this was not a race!! Why was this not advertised as such? why bother giving out race numbers? Are BHF so afraid people might hurt themselves racing against each other? All the same we had a good race!! and a good course, shame about the organizers.

In short: Toughest, But Best race around.
In full: Hideous conditions made this a real toughie this year, but still best race around. Special thanks to marshalls & jelly babies.

In short: Snow made this a special race.
In full: Excellent race in the snow on a good cross country course made going slow but an excellent race. Thanks to marshals, shivering in cold conditions, but still offering plenty of support.

In short: One to Brag about
In full: This is one tough, tough race with weather conditions making it that bit harder still, never been so pleased to see a marshall with a cup of warm tea and eventually the finish line, soaked through. Now looking back so glad I toke part and finished despite slow time.

In short: Glorious Scenery
In full: Great trail race in fantastic location, marshalls on course excellent and plenty of water stations. One gripe though! On arrival there was no marshal in car park for directions and it was a case of help yourself, which fortunately sort of worked!

In short: Good Race But!
In full: Have run this race twice before and the change of course has made it slightly easier but still a good challenge.
No indication of water stations & poorly manned. Given a raffle ticket for bagage area (where was I supposed to put it during the race) but baggage unattended at end of race so had to help myself! Prize giving started by finish area with tail enders still crossing the line. Don't want to moan but few things need sorting to get this race back to high standard of previous years.
