In full: The inclusion of steps twice, some tight turns, some bit over rough terrain and narrow bits didn't help PB potential. The old womens 10k course didn't have all this. Nice atmosphere and very well organised. Date of review: May 6, 2013

In short: They had to change the race to 17k because of the weather, nevertheless it was still brilliant. I always book this one in on my calender, one of the best events of the year. A great challenge tough for all abilities with fanatstic views. Date of review: June 7, 2009

In short: I would definitely do this again, a really enjoyable day In full: I really enjoyed the race but probably should have gone in the challenge. I didn't finish last but there was only a few people behind me. With no previous experience of hill races and coming from a town which is extremely flat I will need more practice on hills even if it means travelling. I was surprised at some of the times in the challenge and thought probably they should have entered the main race. Unfortunately the end was a bit of a let down and no food was offered. I had to wander around for a bit looking for a t'shirt. It would be nice though instead to receive a nice medal as a keep sake for the day instead of a t'shirt which was a bit disappointing and only useful to sleep in. Date of review: June 4, 2007
