In short: WHAT A FABULOUS RACE
In full: What a fantastic race, I absolutely enjoyed every minute of it.

Fantastic organisation with some lovely touches, particularly sarting the children's race alongside the half at the same time. No queue to speak of at the portaloos either as there was so many of them - excellent.

Brilliant course nice and scenic and pretty much all gently undulating / flat which was great. A really friendly race with great commaraderie amongst the runners.

Excellent goody bag at the end as well.

I just want to say a huge thank you to all of the organisers and amazing volunteers and of course the local residents and supporters along the way. I'm countiing the days until I can do it all over again, can't wait!!

In short: STILL MY FAVOURITE!
In full: Still my favourite race - it is unmissable.

Great organisation ample nearby parking, short toilet queues, lovely scenery and best of all fantastic crowd support and atmosphere.

I was pleased to see chip timing this year and the on line video clip posted with race results was a lovely touch.

Many thanks as always to the organisers for a job very well done, all the volunteers and band members and perhaps most of all to the wonderful vocal spectators that make this such a fantastic event.

See you all next year - can't wait!

In full: I got a P.B. so am over the moon.

I run this race every year as it is a good cause and not far from home. However, the whole course seemed really congested this year so much so that I couldn't manage a sprint at the end which I love doing normally.

Despite the announcer at the beginning repeatedly asking people to start in the correct starting areas this seemed to be largely ignored which made it necessary to do an awful lot of "weaving".

As it stands I think that this race is at full capacity - if they allow anymore entrants it will not have P.B. potential which I believe is one of the main attractions of this race.

I liked the techncial tee shirt this year and I would like to thank all of the volunteers who were marshalling etc as there was a definite nip in the air!!

In full: All in all a fantastic morning. The crowd support was brilliant all the way round making for a great atmosphere.

An excellent goody bag at the end was an added bonus.

My thanks to all involved - especially the exceptionally cheerful lady marshall really near the end who was handing out sweets - her enthusiasm was infectious and much needed at that late stage of the race.

In full: Really well organised and friendly which made it enjoyable.

The new City Park at the start/finish looks good but otherwise the scenery is uninspiring as is often the case with city races.

Drummers at 3k /7k mark were fabulous and really gave me a lift.

Thanks to all the organisers, encouraging marshalls, St Johns Ambulance, Bradford Council and the drummers - they really were ace!

In full: This race is done for PB potential only. The organisation was good but I feel that the race is at capacity numbers wise.

I usually run this on my own which is a bit dull but ran this year as part of a corporate team which made it more fun. We didn't all run together but it was good to see each other on opposite sides of the carriageway.

My thanks to the marshalls who did a good job, the age UK supporters at 9K and all of the organisers and other volunteers.

In full: I travelled down from Halifax for this, my first half marathon, and was not disappointed.

Really well organized with an excellent information pack received well before the event so we had no problem with parking etc in an unfamiliar town.

What a fantastic day! There was vocal crowd support literally all the way round, high fiving children and some local residents handing out additional water. I thoroughly enjoyed this race and can't think of a single thing that could have been improved upon, even the T-Shirt was a Ron Hill technical one - excellent stuff.

My special thanks go to all the organisers, volunteers, St Johns ambulance and perhaps most of all the amazing spectators that really did make this such a special event.

Now that the cramp I experienced in my quads at the 12 mile point is becoming a distant memory
I really can't wait to do it all over again next year!

In full: I also now have 5 mugs (as per Dennispotter below) - my guess is yellow next year - will have to wait and see.

Definately my favourite race of the year - but was pretty devastated with my time this year. Hot & windy (the weather that is) and not enough training due to injury.

However will be back next year without a doubt - the whizz down the hill into the town at the end makes it all worthwhile. Fabulous marshalls, crowd support & organisation as always so my thanks to all - not forgetting the brass band members. Oh and also the people that allow their yard to be used as a car park.

In short: Definate P.B. potential.
In full: My third running of this race and the most enjoyable yet.

The organisation seemed slicker this year than previously - so well done to all - with that number of runners it cannot be easy.

Also seemed to be more crowd support this year which is always good.

This is a definate P.B. course. Despite the large numbers running the roads are wide enough to accomodate this.

Tee-shirt nice and colourful and sports drink most welcome at the end.

See you all next year!

In full: Really enjoyable morning. Couple of hills were seriously cheeky - but overall the course wasn't as severe as I was expecing. I was pleased with my time despite I.T. Band issues for the last 4 miles!

Good support from the locals to say that so much of the route was rural.

Good atmosphere at the end with our names and home towns being announced (many including myself had come along way for such a good cause).

My thanks to the organisers and all of the volunteers - with a special to mention to Hazel Barker for starting the race - her speech brought a lump to my throat! I hope this definately becomes a yearly event.
