In short: What a cracking moring out! In full: Wet, cold and brilliant fun! Big thank you to Dr Rob for another fab race. Also to all the marshals who stood out freezing their bits off for us - thank you! Great route in challenging conditions. After the cold deep puddles on the way down I lost feeling in my feet for about 5 minutes and my laces were frozen up when I got to the finish. Somehow though a course PB for me. :-) And all followed by a great cooked breakfast, perfect! I will be back next year Date of review: March 24, 2013

In short: A fun and rewarding morning out In full: A challenging run through a varied route, both in terms of surface and gradient. Some of the puddles (close to the end) were the biggest I have ever seen on this route, no chance of keeping your legs / feet dry and the water was pretty chilly – great fun! Usual high standards of organisation from ETL and very cheery marshals standing out in the cold wind for a couple of hours – thank you
Both my children ran in the fun run and thoroughly enjoyed it too

In short: A great way to start 2013 In full: This is a great race to start the year. It's a fun fancy dress plod, no one is going to get a 10k PB, it's you verses the course. And what a course, Dr Rob certainly knows where to find the mud and the climbs! A BIG thank you to Trionium and all the marshals for getting out of bed to make it all possible and a thank you to the princess (I think you were a Giraffe?) who stopped me from colliding with the runners coming back from the trig’ point!

In short: Great run In full: Thank you ETL and all the Marshals for another fun race. Well organised and enjoyable morning out. I thought the new route was a bit easier with one less hill, but the trudge back round the A25 cycle path was a pretty tough last couple of miles! Date of review: October 10, 2011
