In short: Great 10k in the City In full: This is the first British Heart Foundation event I've taken part in and was really impressed. The location at the Tower of London Moat is really unique and the organisation was spot on with changing facilites and portaloos, secure baggage tent and timing chip collection plus a medal for all finishers.
The route involved up to 10 laps around the moat and the course is grassy and flat. Good mix of running ability from walkers and beginners through to pros looking for a PB. Atmosphere was really positive and friendly and would make a perfect first race. Looking forward to next year! Date of review: May 9, 2013
In short: A quick, flat race in a great location with good atmosphere (plus a great goodie bag from runners needs) In full: One minor moan - we finished in just over an hour and there were no bananas or bagels left so had to go hungry (the ice cream from the van didn't count!)
