In short: Excellent race for its debut
In full: Great local support, excellent marshal's, a bit of off road with quite a few hills so challenging and a very good mix of abilities which all leads to a quality race. Car park, loo's and start line all very close together which is great for a frosty November morning :)

In short: A good fun run - getting lost is part of the enterainment!!
In full: Usually been more of a PB chaser myself but this changed my perspective a bit. I did the 12.3 mile option but undoubtedly did at least a half marathon after getting lost a few times, sometimes from following the people just in front but that made it more of an adventure. As someone else said it should be viewed as a run rather than a race so I will hopefully go for the 18 mile next year as I now know the 12 mile route! Great checkpoint food, friendly people and a burger at the end :)

In short: Great challenging half marathon, great location
In full: Only entered the half marathon and WHOA the heat! and add to that not much shade (except for the shaded bit at the end of each lap), tractor tracks, stones, hills and off road tracks made it a great race. Thanks to the other runners for the atmosphere and the excellent marshals - thanks for all the encouragement (I really needed it in the heat). Hopefully will do the full weekend next year and will bring the kids.
