In short: far too expensive for what it is. Get some welshies back on board and bring back the Marathon

In short: will they learn and improve?
In full: Ok reviews from last year mentioned the organisation and mileage markers. Mileage seemed to be sorted except no 5 and 6 mile markers. But the start. You have an entire stadium at your disposal and last year only opened 5-6 toilets. This year, before 8 am there was only 1!!!! then they opened another and when the que was too long they opened another. Why not just open them all!! Baggage, again, why only have 1 section open until you cannot move and then open another, just open them all at the start. Medals up the stairs still annoys everyone, yet nothing done with this either.

It may be worth sending someone up to Anglesey to see how well theirs is coordinated from start to finish!

As for the 2 lap run, as so many/ nearly all the runners are doing the half there is little or no support on the second lap. Why not have a 26.2 mile route instead of a two lapper as this is meant to be our capitals marathon, and hopefully trying to compete with the NY, bostons and Londons of this world.

Finally, lets start promoting it and getting a few runners into the race. A decent prize fund, some publicity from the race, even people that live in Cardiff do not know its on!!

In short: Well Organised and a day for the entire Family. Without doubt the best run Marathon in the country!
In full: Great Scenary, organisation and a day packed with things to do for the supporters. 13 Water stops makes for good rehydration and then there are about a further 6 sponge stops too! Lovely atmosphere and well organised. Bring your Isotonic and gels with you though, as they sell every thing else except sports stuff!!

In short: A little disorganised on the day, and the finish line was chaos, but generally OK
In full: Would be great if they hadn't turned off the website the day after and actually posted the results. Also very few hotels knew about the event and therefore were not ready or geared up for runners. Hilton had no pasta and would no serve breakfast prior to 7.30!! Not good as wife was running the half and they started at 8.15! Could do with more Lucozade points and someone to measure the course accurately. 27 miles!!!!??
