Yeah I am a big fan of Strava. Integrates with my garmin and is so much better at giving you PB and the most fun finding other peoples routes and seeing how you fair. Defo recommend for a garmin user, not used the phone app though. Mate of mine moved from run keeper to strava so must be good as I realy rated RK. |

yeah it is a total coincidence, but you can tell your friends in the pub if you want to really bore them Fibonacci number is any number in a fibonacci sequence which is 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 where the next number in the sequence is the sum of the 2 previous. |

I am a massive geek so found this an intersting little fact. Maybe work these conversions out in your head on a long run if you need to take your mind of the pain for a bit. Although there are prob better things to think about. http://www.catonmat.net/blog/using-fibonacci-numbers-to-convert-from-miles-to-kilometers/ |

Thanks everyone I really appreciate your recommendations, well I may not be thanking you for the hilly ones at the time though but should give them a go as its not gonna kill me, prob hurt a lot though. I have a load to chose from now so will prob pick a few varied ones. Got me thinking I may try my first off road, seems obvious really. ta |
