WT - amazing race report, you should be incredibly proud of yourself.
Just read a load of the reviews for Manchester. I didn't realise how horrendous the organisation or lack of it was. After the efficiency of London and Brighton you expect city marathons to be slick and professional and at the very least safe.
Artful Hen - I would say Brighton has much more potential for a PB than VLM. miles 5-11 are gentle uphill but it compensates when you come done. The straights are very long so little turning or bunching and there is also plenty of space.
Brighton did refunds (less 10%) for the first year if you got aLondon place but have now stopped that. I'm doing London one way or another in 2013. Brighton has priced itself out for me.
Ballot open and I've entered. I want to do Brighton again but at over £50 it's hard to justify especially when in 2013 it's registration in person on Fri or Sat.
