hello.

that's me in those there pictures from nice a few pages back. i bumped into foggy swimming today and he said i'd been spotted!

i have indeed been awol since IMF, mostly after getting pinged by a car, but i'm back training again now and if i can get my running sorted in the next few weeks, i might well try and race the big woody!

hope you're all doing well, and good luck for IMCH!

hey mark34.

try:

http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/

you have to register but there are a few free training programs on there, and a lot of good general tri advice. i used elements of their programs to train for ironman france which was last week.

you shouldn't need to taper too much for a super-sprint, but a normal taper involves backing off on your training volume but maintaining intensity. ie do some short fast-ish stuff, not long slow stuff.

good luck!

gd.
