Owch - sounds painful Chimney, hope its not too badly injured.
Well done Gaz
Managed a 25:08 Parkrun on Saturday but haven't felt particularly good all weekend and just gave up after 4m on Sunday and made my way back to the car - legs were Ok, just the rest of me that wasn't into it
Its not a bad route really, just a shame it ends at work and not the peaks.
Apparently Up and Running, on the website, are running some night runs over Oct/Nov in urban parks and safe pedestrian routes - seriously, where's the fun in that? The Accelerate night runs take you up on Burbage or Win Hill etc
Good luck ET and Gareth in your new vest - you might not look as fast in blue.
Chimney - keep an eye out for the Grindleford Gallop, it's usually March but entries open soon and it fills up quick. Not done it, but it's 21m from Grundleford to Bakewell via Eyam and Great Longstone and back via Chatsworth and Curbar Edge etc. could be just what you are looking for.
long Tour of Bradwell is another - 30 miles? Also, the Rab Mini Mountain Marathons are good fun, 4 hours navigating around the peaks, dark and white peak organise them. The 3 Peaks sound like your kind of event also.
