TT - how's things? First of all, huge (very belated) congrats on the 2:27, immense run, richly deserved. Things are going ok at this end, after falling to bits (yet again) last spring, spent the summer months mainly on the bike then have gradually worked myself back into running since early autumn. Have added weight traiing into the mix this time around to see if that helps hold injuries at bay, we'll see. Would like to do a final London and then draw a line under the marathon. Think the PBs are all behind me now, but would be nice to make the start line and not come unstuck in the second half. Have signed up for the etape in July so that will see me back on the bike next year. Think you'll be flying by the time Frankfurt rolls around, have you got another marathon on the agenda before then?
LS - thanks, it's a start but there's a ways to go. Bath half is great, will make an excellent training loop.
Find myself agreeing with CRAB and Gobi, think 5k and marathon might as well be 2 different sports, no relationship between them in my racing experience.
TR - good to see you're still banging it out.
Wardi - 17 miler on a school day is well impressive.
Will drop in again in Jan/Feb if I'm still in one piece. Merry Christmas.
