Sounds great. Tendinitis is the medical term for "swollen and very sore". Back in January it was so bad I had to walk with a stick.... Its caused by too much running and ignoring it as it got worse (Deep Heat masks a lot!) so the run sounds excellent and i'll give it a go Thanks for responding. |

good question - and if the walkers set off an hour before the runners don't all the runners catch the walkers up between halfway and end and have to get past them? |

Yateley 10k is a good course. Nothing too severe but some long steady climbs. always a good crowd too. I recommend it but if I remember you have to enter in advance? |

I'm interested in this race as I know the Rowlands Castle area a little and suspect this might be a nice run. Unfortunately the Portsmouth Joggers website www.pjc.org.uk seems to be under re-construction so I can't get any view of what this event might be like. Any kind folks out there can give me clue? I'm gradually finding my feet again after horrendous tendinitis so I'm not quite up for an "extreme" half just yet, but trails and hills and stuff are all great. many thanks. |
