In all seriousness, there are several shark attacks each year - so on the popular beaches the put a net out about 50m off the beach to keep the sharks away. Luckily the sharks never think just to swim round the end of the net!!
Barley - its a French Island - so yes lots of drinking grape juice!!
It's ok guys - I'm happy to put myself out for the team.
The ocean is really nice - hardly anyone else around. But I must improve my French so I can figure out what all the red signs are about that say 'Danger Requin' with a picture of a funny looking dolphin????
That's a lot of turboing How do you know how far you've gone on a turbo
I use my Garmin with the speed/cadence sensor so it still measures the distance the back wheel spins
But if you have variable resistance on the turbo and have it set low, you could get then same spped/cadence readings off the Garmin for a fraction of the 'real' effort? Wouldn't you need to use HR as well (if you know your normal) to calibrate your effort so to speak .....
