'GREAT IF YOU DON'T LIVE IN A CITY OR OWN A MAC'
Strengths:
Easy to read and navigate through, fairly reasonably priced.
Weaknesses:
Annoying lack of ability to track a satellite, the inability to talk to a mac so after 1 year I've not downloaded any info, rather large overall, 305 looks like an improvement.
Overall:
More often than not it wil take a long time to track a satellite, get the feeling it would struggle to find one in the cargo bay of the space shuttle. Even standing on the highest point for about 7 miles in clear weather it lost a link. Hopefully the new versions will have improved the technology (do cars ever lose links? if not what's the difference) as it is potentially a brilliant bit of kit.
