In short: Great transport links and well organised
In full: Easy access via mersey rail a fantastic setting and relatively flat course with down hill finish . Well organised and with central cutover points its ideal for spectators too. This is the best inaugural event i have taken part in . Well done everyone!

In short: Much more interesting than Worthing
In full: The course caught me out a bit a few more undulations than expected but they were all gradual ups. Views & support around the course just average but good event & much better value & more interesting than Worthing which is usually on the same date

In short: Organisation nil points
In full: Yet again the organisation let us down ...in the past they have sent us off on the wrong route this year it was the finish that was a farce! Queuing up to cross the finish line because there were only two number takers. Yet there were more than enough people giving out bags & seperately medals. The official times will have to be pure guesswork. Whilst it is for a worthwhile cause I left the event feeling very angry !

In short: Definitely be looking out for this one in 2010
In full: Hot & testing with barely a few 100 metres of level ground on whole course. Loved the towel could have done with water rather than sponges at 9/10 miles otherwise well done. PB potential as distance rarely run !

In short: Left a funny taste in the mouth
In full: The hill was protracted & the water was only fit for gargling - nasty TCP taste. That aside the race was enjoyable but a bit more low key than I expecting in comparison to Brighton & Hastings. Perhaps they would get more entries if held after thee summer when it is not competing against superior local events.

In short: Chichester has so much more to offer
In full: Lack of cover & water . Last time I said I would never do this race again (but changed my mind because it is only 12 miles away)but once again i found it to be a very boring run so this time I mean it - NEVER AGAIN!

In short: Red tape
In full: No point in pre- registering they alloted a new number when you got to the desk, put twice as many people on day reistration & allowed walkers who were starting an hour later in same queues. insufficient water stations, no marshalls except at "checkpoints. Organisation aside the day was good course was fun & interesting though a little challenging/dangerous along the rutted paths & loose stone portions
