In short: Outstanding event
In full: Was worried that the volume of people would make the first part of the run slow but once you got away from the start line you had enough room to get right into your desired pace. This is a great race with a fantastic route and atmosphere.

In full: Very good inaugural event. Good parking/organisation/bag drop. Friendly people all round. Only 300 runners because roads are rural but not closed off. It got a bit lonely as we were stretched out and support was limited. Very undulating with a couple of tough hills in warm weather. Very good first effort indeed. Well done.

In short: Great inaugural race
In full: Very good first race and sure the glitches will be ironed out but this was a very enjoyable event. Only negative was picking up the bag at the end - perhaps a large area of the town hall could be used next year as vans are always chaos. Well done to the organisers.

In short: Excellent Race
In full: Dread to think what it would have been like had Saturday not been a fine day.
Excellent organisation, atmosphere, marshalling and unique course. Nice medal and a good challenge in the conditions.
Only negatives are lack of support and the baggage was a bit of a shambles at the end.
