In short: Excellent but we still need a ditch the ditch protest group.
In full: As usual this race was excellent with a great route, great organization and friendly encouraging marshals. However, please think seriously about chucking out the ditch. I heard lots of complaints about the muck and smell but that didn't bother me - it is just not that sort of gimmicky race - I don't do the sodbury slog for the same reason. Terminator is a great hard cross country race not a wading competition. Anyway, ditch aside, thanks for the race PVRC and keep up the good work.

In short: Gurt Lush...conditions even too tough for the Terminator to make an appearance this year !
In full: It's the beauty (with regards to scenery and organisation) of this complete cross country test that reminds me why I could do this sort of event every week and never bother with a road race again. By the way, did they ship in extra mud this year ? Not sure I've ever seen so much on the route. Oh, and I hope the guy who did a face plant in the bog has wrestled his way out by now.

In short: Muddy - I felt I ran quite well but definitely my slowest time.
In full: I'm looking forward to the results so I can see if I really ran as badly as my time suggests but the other reviews so far have backed up my opinion that it was a muddy one this year. Enjoyable as ever and well organised by runners for runners. Thanks Chippenham H.

In short: A perfect race on a perfect day. One of my top 5 races every year.
In full: Each year I shake my head in wonder as only a few souls run around this wonderful course when only the week before thousands upon thousands pounded the streets of Bristol. I can only assume this is a race for those who have fully converted to the religion of running. Ah well, their loss is definitely my gain. Such a great day just makes the working week longer !

In short: Great...but too dry this year.
In full: Great race as always but unfortunately it was much too dry underfoot this year...compared to last year it felt like a 10k road race. I thought the stampeeding horses coming out of the gate by the coombe were a nice touch - they were definitely the toughest obstacle I've ever faced in a race.

In short: An thoroughly enjoyable hilly trail race, with a bit of road to complicate your shoe choice and a very steep muddy hill (with rope to help you up) near the end to ensure you finish with a warm glow.

In short: Too hot this year but a great family friendly event.
In full: Really should be PB material but the heat made it feel like a death march for me. A great one for the family though, as they really enjoyed the helicopter, kites and childrens races. Lots of room to picnic too. Thanks to all involved.

In short: Not completely flat but still a surprisingly quick course.
In full: A small, well organised race from the always hard working & friendly Pewsey RC.

In short: Fine example of why cross country beats road running.
In full: Excellent race organised by runners for runners - well done Pewsey RC yet again. Just 2 suggestions 1/ Run 1 or maybe 2 of the hills at a slight angle so that with great effort they would be just about runable. 2/ Take out stile at top of 1 of the hills - I hear some runners had to queue for 5 minutes.
