In short: FANTASTIC In full: My first ever marathon. Although it went pear shaped, I would do it all again. The oganisaton was like clockwork, all the loos I could want (and I did) around the course. A big thank you to the fabulous marshall and everyone who who was involved in the early hours and long after we left. and thank you to all those thousands who shouted encouragement when runners were flagging xxxxxxxxxxx Date of review: April 27, 2010
In short: very good run and got a pb In full: First time running this and enjoyed it very much. Got a PB without trying too hard - yeehaa! Was in the woods when the claxon sounded, but didn't bother me unduly as it has happened in other races. Thank you to all involved for giving up your Sunday to help out. Encouraging marshalls and spectators carry you along. Oh, yes, first time my father had seen me run, which was lovely. Date of review: March 27, 2010

In short: Absolutely Fabulous In full: Apart from a longish wait for the loos at the beginning, the race could not be faulted. Everybody who organised and helped out during the day did a magnificent job. Thank you. I shall be back next year and better my time (without injury next time!). Loved the medal and the souvenier Metro page with my photo! Nice touch. Date of review: October 12, 2008
