In short: Tough off roader, Mud, water, hills, great course
In full: My second Turbo X and cant reccomend them enough. Expect to get dirty and wet, and forget about your time and just have fun. A great excuse to play in the mud.

In short: Mud, Bogs, Dirty water, Mud, Cold, rain, Mud, Steep climbs, Mud
In full: Good atmosphere, refreshing change from slogging the miles out on the roads. Once you are wet and dirty you dont care and just enjoy the challenge ahead of you. Had to be rescued by other runners/bog monsters from the waist deep mud a couple of times but still loved it. It was over too quick and I could have turned round and run back though it all again, just for giggles!

In short: Whats that coming over the hill? its a sweaty, tired me
In full: Narrow first 10k, good scenery and flat first half helps the miles pass quickly. A bit of swerving in and out of people required as a bit narrow in places. Save some for the hill, this beat me again this year and had to walk it, in my defence I did wake up with a cold and very sore throat so running on maybe 85%.Relitivly happy with 1:49 but could have been so much better.

In short: Not alot of room over the first few kms but soon thins out and becomes an enjoyable run through some of Readings least seen areas. Watch out for the slippery sections if its been raining though! Will be there again next year. :-)
