In short: Great value, well-organised half marathon
In full: Congrats and thanks to everyone at Clowne Road Runners for putting on a really well-organised event. From parking up to crossing the finish line, everything was how it should be in a road race.

In short: Mud is good and hills are our friends!
In full: Did the half today and loved every minute of it, even the bits where I was scrabbling to stay on my feet. Very good value for money and impeccable organisation. Do agree about the medal, but certificate and map of route in goody bag a nice touch. Hope to have another go next year :-)

In short: Very well organised, scenic half marathon
In full: Very impressed with organisation today. Arrived in good time, no queues, car park next to start, finish just over road, great atmosphere and support round course. Would definitely do again!

In short: Brilliant race!
In full: Great fun today - superb atmosphere, lots of fancy dress, snow, sunshine - what more could a Christmas race want? Good decision to change the course - the Roaches will still be there next year!! Love the socks too!

In short: Well organised, easy to get to, a race to recommend!
In full: First time at Clowne, but not knowing the area, found it easily following signs from M1. Organisation excellent, parking easy, plenty of loos and refreshments, undulating course, quality tee shirt as memento. Thanks to everyone involved with this race.

In short: First time at Uttoxeter - hopefully, not my last.
In full: The glorious weather and views really made this race for me. I found the hills a challenge, but they just added to the enjoyment (and, yes, I did have to walk up one!). Marshalling, organisation and facilities excellent.

In short: Well organised, low key event - a race to recommend!
In full: My first time at this race and what a race!! Weather conditions were perfect, ground underfoot dry, course well-marked and marshalled, scenery amazing. It was probably one of the hardest runs I have ever done (and consequently I was one of the back markers!), but that didn't matter! Everyone was so friendly and encouraging. How the front runners put up their times defies belief - total respect!

In short: Not an easy run, but scenery more than compensates!
In full: Really enjoyed today's race. Marshalling and organisation were spot on, weather was perfect (almost too warm in the sheltered parts of race!) and a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Will be back (all things being equal!).

In short: Well organised, but do need more loos!!
In full: As others have said, queues for loos were a bit distressing but otherwise, a well organised race.

In short: Not an easy run, but fantastic scenery more than compensates!
In full: Had a frustrating run today due to stomach cramps forcing me to walk on the downhill stretches, but loved the race and am only more determined to come back next year and try again!! Very well organised: loos, showers, parking, marshalling etc all A1. Thank you to everyone involved today!
