In short: Scorchio In full: The heat beat me this year, along with two mid-race nosebleeds, but a very enjoyable morning. Never been so tempted to jump into a river! Very well organised and great time potential ,roll on next year as I feel I have unfinished business having burnt out after around 11 miles. Date of review: May 14, 2008

In short: Great race having burnt off Christmas excess. In full: Did my first half marathon here in 2004 and have been back every year since. Course fairly quick but if the prevailing wind blows then running towards the finish at the pier is akin to walking towards the pyramids in the desert! I'm sure I have spent at least 15 minutes jogging on the spot every year. Date of review: March 17, 2008
