In short: Tough enough to make it interesting. In full: A great local race well organised and supported with a few hills to make it mildly challenging and to top it all a great medal once you have finished. Date of review: October 18, 2012
In short: Hardest Thing I have ever done In full: Dr Rob thank you for the Bonus hills and extra few miles as if this was not going to be tough enough. I would like to thank all the Great marshals and my fellow runners for making this a an awesome experience. I'm so tiered I want to sleep but the pain from my body just wont allow me. I would say bring it on for next year but I don't think I'm man enough to do it again. Once again Thank you everyone for making it a Great event. Date of review: June 24, 2012
In short: Excellent, excellent excellent In full: A race that runs like clockwork by runners for runners. I only entered a few day ago and I'm sure glad I did, I met a friend and run the first few miles with him he started running a lot faster than I would normally and I'm sure glad I stayed with him as I smashed the 1:30 for the 1st time with a new PB of 1:26.58 this race has pure speed written all over it. Thank you all at PWAC for making an old man really happy. Date of review: April 2, 2012
In short: If I could only run one race it would be this one In full: Just read everyone else's reviews just such a Great Race. Well done once again Dr Rob and your Magnificent Team. Date of review: March 18, 2012
In short: The course was 13.22 miles Long In full: The Girls on the bridges were great, the race itself was ok but not the most interesting. My only downer is that 3 of us measured as too long which was a little gutting as according to my watch I had just run my second fastest half ever but the results show it 45 seconds slower. I would do it again but not for another few years. Date of review: March 5, 2012
In short: Tough but well organised In full: I had my reservations about this race as it was only the second running and it only had 28 runners last year, there were main roads and Tram lines to be crossed and these Guy's were very new to all this. All I can say is that these Guy's are well organised everything went smoothly everyone new their role all the crossings were well manned there were mile markers and arrows all round the course and I have to say that it was as good as any I have run (And I have run over 200 races)the course was tough and had been well thought through. I will be back next year as this is such a great race.
