In short: Flat, but measured a little long and congestion seems to prevent PBs.
In full: Congested in places, all off the road, which is great, but 2 laps of pretty dull scenery. I measured this about 300m long, other runners felt distance was inaccurate too. Well organised though and a friendly evening. Many more signs at the entrance and surrounding roads would have helped. I lived in Portsmouth for years but got lost trying to get into the stadium through the new entrance.

In short: A pancake-flat blast around Gosport. Loads of interesting stuff to look at!
In full: I loved this race. The marshalls and organisers were the friendliest I've ever experienced. Loads of smiles and encouragement. I smashed my PB by 9 mins thanks to the new course which is flat and virtually traffic free. Loads of water and kids helping out. I found Daedalus really interesting and added to my enjoyment. My only gripe was the start involves a bottleneck of a cycle path after a hundred yards or so, but it does not detract from one of my favourite ever events. Well done guys.

In short: A great run along the hilly roads of the north-east Isle of Wight.
In full: This part of the Isle of Wight is particularly hilly and the race undulates from start to finish. However, the scenery is pleasant, its well marshalled and traffic this year didn't seem to be such a problem. 2 water stations and plenty of support along the way was a great help. I'll be doing this again next year but helps that the start is only 400m from my house!

In short: Undulating!
In full: A course of rolling hills through country roads and villages. Really nice race, just remember to hold back a bit for Havenstreet Hill at 5 miles.

In short: Flat, Fast, Well Marshalled
In full: A good race but dull scenery. Quick and well organised with a nice mento in the form of an engraved tumbler.

The course is a bit twisty and the finish was a little confusing as its not where we started but overall a really good day.

In short: A fast and flat race through some scenic parts of Portsmouth!
In full: Nice race with lots of support. Would be nice to try and ease some of the congestion at the start though.
