In short: Finished in good time in the 46 minute mark after a year off!
In full: Lovely race, great marshalling, nice park/woods run, not traffic free in places, but a good outing none the less. One suggestion is to add some portaloos and a bit nicer finishers bag. Would be happy to pay 12-13 Quid for the extras! Thanks again for putting this on.

In short: A good value for money race, nice scenary, only needed more water!
In full: Organizers did a supberb job on everything except offering a 2nd water station as it turned off warmer than everyone expected. It was a nice easy and clear start, on time, and excellent marshalling.

In short: Wow! PB and Sunshine to boot!
In full: It was a really great day overall, with the superb weather and good running crowd. I thought the race organizers had the course mapped pretty well and the only realy issue was I couldn't see an overall timer (I didn't wear my watch) at the finish and if I'd missed the wand guy with my chip, I might have had a slower overall time. I guess an RFID portal was bit much to ask, but that would have at least read everything without 15 people having to stand around waving this funny looking fly-swatters at you! Hope to do this again! Beat my PB by 3+ minutes! Yahoo!

In short: Best Atmosphere & Support on any 1/2 Marathon Yet!
In full: If you want a taste of what the London Marathon has in store from an atmosphere and crowd support then this is one you should use as a prep for the Marathon! The course is challenging enough with the hills but the fans and atmosphere will overshadow any pain. The marathon will seem easier in many ways having done the Hastings Half!

In short: No PB here today, tough weather conditions made it a great accomplishment just to finish. The race went off well in spite of the stingy rain. Viewing your official time after the race only worked if your number stayed on during the race. Mine
In full: had enough half-way down the backstretch with about a mile to go. Well done to everyone who gritted this one out, great job! It wasn't clear where the hot tubs were after, would have been nice to warm up after wards. I heard the Dualathon announcer provide more clarity to the field during their pre-race meeting, but didn't hear anything about it during the pre-race meeting for the 10K. It also seemed the sponsors were a little behind setting up before the race so I didn't choose to check out their offerings, plus afterwards it was quite nippy in their tents and with no heat in there, so I went somewhere to get warm instead. I might run it next year, but might wait and sign up on the day depending on if weather conditions seem less severe.

In short: Signage in town could have helped, but locals new about it and sorted out the directions for me. Enjoyed the run!
