In short: Loved it, but the WIND!!!
In full: The organisation of the 5k / 5.2k finish was not clear - someone told me I had finished when I hadn't, adding 3 minutes to my time...! Otherwise a great day.

In short: In my home city, LOVED it...
In full: My first 10k, felt a bit demoralised at sooooo many people ahead of us, but really enjoyed it. Course a bit hilly but quite like ups and downs - none of them too steep. Will definitely be back. Nice goody bag, too!

In short: Liked it, no food at the end...
In full: I was slow (66 mins) but a PB for me, so v.happy (& on a tougher course then my last 10k)... Great marshalls, pretty up and down though & the bridge is LONG. Kms 3-5 a bit of a drag... Will be back though.

In short: I am rating on my 6 miles of the relay. Much fun, great for beginners. But the £20 per person is pretty pricey, though the tshirt (complete with haggis running across the front) and medal (huge and heavy) make it worth the cash....
In full: I am from Edinburgh, so am totally biased, but I think the marathon is great - and having a relay too means it is a really mixed race. Definitely be back again (I did it last year too). Though they need to sort the loo situation!!
