In short: Enjoyable race
In full: Tamworth 10K. Organisation smooth enough. Entry cost a bit steep, espacially on the day, as there can't be high policing costs that some races have to pay. PB potential and friendly for beginners as the course is vertually flat

In short: TOUGH COURSE BUT WELL WORTH DOING
In full: Overall the race rating is better than the sum of the parts. No PB potential, perhaps tough for beginners but don't let that put you off. Scenic course and good facilities onsite. Course was a bit fiddly with laps of random fields to maye up the distance. I would have preferred 3 laps of a more straight forward course. However, overall well worth doing.

In short: Enjoyable race
In full: Shame about the course change but good organisation to manage the situation caused by the weather. Overall excellent organisation and something for everyone on the day.

In short: Something for everyone
In full: Did this race years ago and it was just as challenging as I remember. Enjoyable all the same. Ok for front runners and novices trying something different. Well organised, good atmosphere and plenty for supporters to do and close to town centre.

In short: flawless organisation
In full: A well organised race as always. Every finisher, at whatever level, was treated with the same enthusiasm by the finish announcer. The T shirt was almost worth the entry in itself. A must do race.

In short: new event shortcomings and poor value
In full: Echo views about water station and distance markers. Expensive for what it was. Loos provided, presumably hired, but superb perminant public facilities on site. Better use could have been made of route to eliminate need to block roads. This could have reduced cost and encouraged more to enter and support a good cause.

In short: EXCELLENT EVENT
In full: Chellenging route in places but not too tough. Organisation spot on. Fairly low key so would not intimidate newcomers but competition for every level. Good value race.
