In short: Great race, thoroughly enjoyed it and will definately be back!
In full: This race was such fun. The hills, mud and water only made it better. The atmosphere was great, the marshalls as usual did a great job and fellow competitors were really supportive and encouraging, especially the man who convinced me to put in a bit of a sprint at the finish.

In short: An ok 5m. Well organised, marshalled and friendly
In full: I thought the entry was a bit steep with very little return. The momento certainly wasn't one of the best I have. The turn out was fantastic though, I was really surprised to see so many entered.

In short: Very cold and very wet but a great race as usual.
In full: The coffee and cakes at the finish were a sight for sore eyes after this years race. It was so cold and so wet, I never thought i would thaw out. The marshalls, as ever did a absolutely brilliant job standing around for hours on end in those awful conditions. Thanks very much to all of them!

In short: Vast improvement on old route.
In full: I much preferred the new route, especially the middle part where you come off road for a short way. The route was gently undulating, great potential for fast times. The momento made a nice change too. Admittedly the industrial estate wasn't the most scenic part of the route but you can't have everything. So on the whole a great race, nice atmosphere and well marshalled. Thanks

In short: Hot, Hot, Hot!
In full: What more can I say.. Although i enjoyed this race; very friendly, great atmosphere and well organised, I hadn't prepared anywhere near well enough for the heat. Got very dehydrated and ended up walk, running the majority of the route. Will def do again.

In short: Really enjoyable race!
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed todays race. Nice atmosphere, well organised, great location and some nice little touches such as availability of homemade cakes and ice lollies made the race a bit nicer than the usual races.

In short: Very hot!!
In full: Event was very well organised, in a great location, well marshalled and the t shirt was the best I've got for a long time. However the 2pm start is not ideal. Not only does it mean you're whole day is affected, if the weather is hot like this weekend then 2pm is probably the worst time to be running, as proved to be the case on Sunday. The heat certainly took its toll on most people who took part. The beer tent was certainly a sight for sore eyes at the end of the race.

In short: A fun event that all the family can take part in.
In full: Two races; one for the kids and one for the big kids. Fantastic atmosphere, lovely location and a pleasant course with a couple of smalls hills to make it bit challenging. Great organisation and marshalling i'd definately recommend this race for people people looking for something a bit more fun and laid back than some other events.
