In short: Great experience and excellent medal In full: Organisation was flawless; the race started bang on time with no hitches. Marshalls were very friendly and supportive, which was a boost when you're right on the far side of the track away from all the supporters. The course itself is essentially flat (a few rises and falls, but nothing much) so excellent PB potential. If you're a fan of GP it's great to be there where it all happens; I'm not, but still enjoyed the experience. Chip timing worked perfectly and I enjoyed the fact that the chip was attached to your number, so no fiddling around with laces or having to remove it at the end. Finally, I was really impressed with the medal. It's a simple design, but a solid, quality medal and my current favourite medal received (and that includes some from big races run by Bupa). A definite recommendation. Date of review: May 15, 2012
