In short: A fantastic new running experience
In full: What a fantastic weekend of running! The weather was dreadful but made each race even more rewarding. The organisation by the team from Nice Work was excellent and the last minute adaptations to the courses were seamless. I even enjoyed the 3 lap 10k course to finish the weekend as by the final lap I had worked out where all the puddles were on the course. Those running all three days had built up a great cameraderie by the third day of running and it was great to see the same faces day after day, slightly wearier as the weekend progressed! I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a different running challenge. Can't wait for next year!

In short: Great value for money and testing course
In full: A brilliant pre marathon race. Tough course, especially the hill at mile 20. Friendly marshalls, great support from runners that had already finished and a lovely low key atmosphere meant I could get training miles in without feeling pressured to produce a great time (which I didn't!). Thank you and see you next year.

In short: An outstanding marathon experience!
In full: This was my 8th marathon and probably my favourite (and yes I have run London twice!) My judgement might be clouded by the fact I took 9 minutes off my PB (3:44:41) but I thought that the whole experience was outstanding. The speakers at Saturday's exhibition were top drawer, the crowd support was sensational and the weather was beautiful! I like running with the sun on my back and there were masses of water and powerade stations to keep everyone hydrated. I liked the fact that I was in my running stride within the first mile unlike my experiences of London. Have already signed up for next year as I would rather run Brighton again than London! Well done to the organisers and thank you Brighton for a brilliant experience!

In short: Much improved from last year! Best course yet and organisation was excellent. Crowd could have cheered a bit more but beat my PB by 5 minutes so happy anyway! Can't wait for next year!

In short: My 3rd GSR and I absolutely love this race!
In full: The hilarious last 2 miles into the wind were incredibly tough and stopped me getting a PB. Still finished in 1 hour 11 which I was very pleased with having done the Amsterdam Marathon the week before. Great crowd support and I had no problems with the organisation. You can't blame the race organisers for the roadworks on the A3!! can't wait for next year when I will go inside 65 minutes!!!

In short: Smashed my PB!
In full: Really enjoyed this race. very flat course with great PB potential as I took over a minute off mine, finishing in 41:48. Could have done with an earlier water stop as i was really thirsty by 6k. Shower was a nice touch and freshened me up on a very hot, sticky morning. Marshalls very enthusiastic, as were the crowd in certain areas. Other crowd members confused this race with a library convention and remained silent. wave start seemed to work well from the front, great goodie bag and medal. Can't wait for next year.

In short: Wow! What a hill at the start! Really great race with lots of variety. It didn't even matter that it was a 2 lap race because the course was so challenging. Really enjoyed it, will certainly be there next year!
