In short: It has ponies!
In full: The sort of race were you can tell the organisers have put in that extra bit of effort to make their race better.

A few CLEAR car parking directions would have helped. New Milton is a bit confusing ;-)

In short: Jolly fab run
In full: Not a fast course due to mostly off road, narrow sections and some sharp turns, but a lovely spot for a good work out. Bedford is nice shock.

In short: Better than running around Milton Keynes!!
In full: Have done MK Half twice - dull as dish water. This was better until 3-4 miles out when it became a bit crappy. I love dodging traffic and weaving in and out of parked cars half in road and half on pavement. A very fine medal at end was a bonus.

In short: Fab venue, fab course, ugly marshalls though
In full: Bargin - it was cheaper to enter the race than to just go to the zoo. next time will spend longer in the zoo, which means I'll have to run it quicker.

In short: Everbody was HOT HOT HOT!
In full: Cor it was hot, except for my pace which was luke warm and cooling towards the end. Top course, top organisation - only fault is the start, but not sure how you solve that one.

In short: Lovely Day Dontcha know
In full: 2nd time - this year only in Relay. the worst conditions I ever raced in. Not for faint hearted - all the bad bits make this fun - although only after you have dried out. Actually felt for the Marshalls - 5 -6 hours getting battered. thanks kids!! Low light - wasting a pound on evil chips from burger van. *hurls*

In short: Top event, even for those who hate XC
In full: Great course, fab woods, brilliant colours. Drier than years gone by, but hills aren't easy to run up at full pelt. Well worth a shot and cheap, Congrats to the Joggers.
