In short: An excellent event!
In full: Well organised. Wonderfully encouraging marshals. Good value, with great t-shirt and medal. Sweets en route and cakes at the end were much appreciated. The course was pretty good too. Not much could be done about the shocking weather. The last half I did was Run to the Beat which was terrible on every count so it was great to be reassured that there are lots of really fantastic races to take part in.. well done Bexhill. Well worth the drive from London.

In short: I gave it another go after 2008 but won't be back in 2011
In full: Two years ago the race wace delayed an hour in torrential rain (obviously the weather could not be avoided) The Peninsula in Greenwich is a nightmare because there's only one way in and out. I didn't think it was well organised, not able to cope with huge numbers of people. Some staff surly and unhelpful (i have done this job myself) Run to the beat theme not really a good description. Live bands were good but a car stereo and a cd would have done the same job as the Ministry of Sound vans. I have done many half marathons around the country so have some experience and this one just doesn't measure up. Why has this race been twice delayed by the best part of an hour? ... well i'm comparing to the Marathon I guess.

In short: A superb race yet again!
In full: This was the third time I have done this race and I was very pleased to come home with a 20m PB. As someone has already said the organisers have everything covered, over and above with the chocolate, energy gels etc. It is a challenging course but not unpleasant. Well worth travelling up from London for. Thanks to all the wonderful marshalls too.

In short: An enjoyable race, good FLM prep.
In full: Challenging but enjoyable, great marshalling and I loved the support from other runners, who had already finished, over the last mile. Great scenery.

In short: As good as 20 miles with hills can be!
In full: Beautifully organised with lovely marshalls and jelly babies. Nice downhill finish. Will definitely do it again. A minor point but could the start be more clearly sign posted.

In short: Yet another enjoyable riverside run.
In full: It's the third time i've done this half marathon. It is beautifully organised and well supported. The countryside is lovely too and the course relatively kind. I'll be back next year.

In short: Superb marshalling with lots of goodies on offer.
In full: A scenic course and the hills were not too tricky. Lots of encouragement from the Marshalls with jelly babies, chocolate and bananas on route. A packed lunch and a commemorative sweatshirt for all those who finish. A big thank you to the Ivanhoe Runners!

In short: A parking nightmare spoilt this race!
In full: Despite arriving nearly an hour ahead of the start we were stuck in the traffic unable to park. Only just made the start thanks to a mile long warm up sprint!Loads of others were in a similar position. Lovely support on the challenging course.
