In short: Great local race
In full: Well organised local race - well done to Havering 90 Joggers. A bargain race entry of £3 for affiliated runners.

In short: Great race - well done to Barking Road Runners and LBBD.
In full: I found this incredibly hard (my first race for 2 years) but got excellent support from the marshalls from BRR and especially the back marker Dennis (yes, it was me that was last.) Will be back next year, hopefully a bit faster!!

In short: Great local fun run
In full: A great day out; lots of friendly locals honking at you from their cars. Ideal for beginners and there's the opportunity for a bacon butty afterwards if you fancy - what more could you ask for? Could have done with maybe a couple of extra marshalls. Beginner and kid friendly. Nice medal.

In short: Great race especially for first timers
In full: Why oh why the long wait between starting the under 25mins and under 35 mins? (over 10 minutes) Otherwise was a great day although the course is a little narrow in places for the number of runners. Great goody bag and medal as always though.

In short: Glorious scenery in Hackney!
In full: A nice day but not much support along the route even though there were lots of people in the park. No marshalls along the route at all apart from nearing the finish line. Got a big cheer and my name mentioned as I was crossing the finish line, though!

In short: Rating is for the BTMK Fun Run
In full: A great fun run ideal for first timers, who can stand at the back and avoid all the junior club runners at the front! Getting to car park at the start was a nightmare; road closed too early and wasn't helped by a boot sale on the way! Hello to the fellas dressed as a nun, monk and emu!

In short: Excellent race from Ampthill & Flitwick Flyers
In full: Hot and hilly as hell. Great organisation from the Flyers. Thanks to the fella on his bike who was very encouraging as he passed me and I passed him. Friendly fellow runners made hellish conditions a little more bearable. Thanks to the guy on the PA who wished me a happy anniversary and to the locals for turning out to support us (including my mum and dad!)

In short: A fabulous local race only spoilt by bad marshalling on the closing straight
In full: A great day out. Needed more signposts to extra toilets outside main hall. Great support from the locals and lots of friendly fellow runners. Great encouragement from the Essex FM girls! Complete lack of marshalls on the closing straight meant that people were walking all over the route and i had to dodge round people to finish, which robbed me of my glory finish!

In short: I did the 2 stage relay - excellent for the slowies like me!
In full: A very well organised race. Plenty of toilets, drink stations and forumites! Hills were hard for a less experienced runner like me and through the villages you could go for a while without seeing anyone apart from the odd runner! Windy as hell. Marshalls were excellent and great encouragement from fellow runners. Well done Stopsley Striders!

In short: The perfect excuse for fish and chips
In full: I haven't done this race before (my first 10k.) Couldn't find the start very easily and didn't hear the gun go off. Couldn't find the finish and the clock was about 100m from the actual finish. Huge queues for the tshirts (a decent size at least) but portaloos were a good point. Good marshalls a very friendly drink station helpers.
A good first 10k for me.
