In short: Great organisation and a good setting made for a great race, the weather was dismal but didn't ruin it!
In full: Plus points:
1. Bag storage near the start, the army transport and return your bag to you at the finish. This was very well organised. I expected a long queue to collect but they were very speedy - great job!

2. Lovely scenic flat (ish) course through New Forest countryside.

3. Well signed and marshalled with clear mile markers.

4. Chip timing.

5. Large number of runners makes for a good big race feel.

Minus points
1. T shirt costs extra

2. Couldn't find car park, I thought it was off Gore Rd, it isn't. Could have done with a sign to car park outside the school - I saw sevral other lost runners.

In short: Lovely offroad run through forest trails
In full: I did the 5k option (being one lap - 10k two laps). It was strange to be running with snow on the ground in April! It was a lovely course with a couple of small hills which were undulating (not steep). I thought it was a nice informal fun run, I would def do it again. Thanks to the organisers.

In short: Well organised, good value for money event. Lovely challenging course, well worth doing.
In full: Quite a challenging course with a couple of hard hills but lovely scenery. Free hot dogs and soup at the finish were very welcome. Good organisation and value for money makes this an unmissable event in my running calendar!

In short: This race now features as one of my top 3 favourites! It's fantastic!
In full: Well organised, a great atmosphere. The course was very muddy and certainly challenging with 4 hard hills but probably one of the best 3 races I've done this year. Fantastic views from the top of the last hills. Good tshirt, excellent value for money. This is a race you have to do at least once!

I can't wait to go back and do it next year!
