In short: Organisers took on board comments after last year's hiccups and has resulted in an excellent race!! In full: Two days later and I'm still on a high! Enjoyed it more than last year because the course had been tweaked and think the organisers have now got it right so no further adjustments required. Recommended as a MUST RUN AT LEAST ONCE becasue it has everything - scenery, atmosphere, music, even a bit of sand - now that was a surprise!!! Date of review: October 16, 2012

In short: Can you make the wind blow t'other way next year....!!!!! In full: Despite the wind for the last 3 miles, the route was great! Atmosphere, I felt was better than when the start used to be in Sefton Park and I really appreciated the encouraging shouts from the spectators, bless them all for standing in the cold! A couple of complaints though - please organise more toilets in Sefton Park, having to queue for nearly 15 mins and watching the 11 mile marker go past is not a nice feeling............! Neither is finally completing the run and then finding out that there are no T-shirts left is awful - BUT I will be back next year. Date of review: March 28, 2010
