In short: Excellent club race
In full: This is a serious club race and it is easy to get carried along and pay for it in the second half as I did, but made it my fastest half this year, although disappointing it is not chip timed. Other than that, brilliant race!

In short: A Magnificent race
In full: I had such an excellent day at this great race. The organisation was spot on and the atmosphere was brilliant even throughout the downpours. Hearing loads of people shouting your name as you pound the streets is the best encouragement ever!

In short: Turned out really well!
In full: Really good race, good humour from marshals and starter. Only tips would be, please have water in bottles and I would happily pay an extra quid if it meant there were toilets on the route as I had 20p's on me but I was that disorientated from my running I couldnt get my pocket zips undone in the wind! I also saw one brave gentleman 'watering the beach' so to speak only to be covered in a gigantic wave!!

In short: Brilliantly organised and excellent course
In full: This race was very well organised and staff were friendly and helpful to us less seasoned runners as mainly club runners race. Course was lovely and scenic, some nice country lanes. Course was fairly flat and knocked four mins off my PB!

In short: Brilliant race, excellent organisation
In full: Really good race. Second time round. Opted for park and ride service from the city which was well organised and staff welcoming and helpful. Although one steep incline, the downhill part makes your time up well if you go with the flow

In short: Set a p.b as much better course. Its better to have the climb part way through on Upper Parliament Street than after only 2 miles as it was in October as you are into your running by then.
