In short: Supportive relay runners and marshalls
In full: The marshalls and water station attendants were amazing, but there were too many uphill sections. I thought the relay runners who gave encouragement (as they shot passed!) was really nice. I would have to train seriously before contemplating another Luton marathon.

In short: Good for first-timers (subject to weather conditions!)
In full: I got absolutely soaked, found the inclines quite challenging but really enjoyed my very first marathon thanks to the friendly marshalls and supportive locals. Highly recommended!

In short: Well organised, flat and scenic
In full: I really enjoyed the race and would definitely do it again. I don't understand why some people were confused about start times - the instructions were very clear. My only 'complaint' is that I think the 16-milers should start before the 8-milers.

In short: Friendly and relaxed atmosphere
In full: Lots of support and encouragement from passers-by, the marshalls and 'water station operatives' were very friendly and the route was scenic and mainly flat.

In short: An enjoyable race overall
In full: An enjoyable race overall but, no official start line, and the course was not 'flat'. A few seconds lost at some of the water stations due to not having enough people to hand out drinks.
