In short: Stunning scenery, good atmosphere and challenging hills
In full: A good and challenging race. The hills were tough but the scenery after mile 2 were stunning. A thoroughly good pre marathon workout. Overall marshalling was good but could be improved one or two points on the course. It was a shame the route was not completely traffic free as some drivers and cyclists proved impatient. Chip timing is great and I appreciate the increased costs but could do better with the poor goody bag!

In short: A well organised event as usual, the only problem is at the start & in the first kilometre when several runners seem incapable of following the instruction keep left although I appreciate the start & first turn are tight.

In full: A fairly scenic course course which was well marshalled. The only disappointment is the distance between the facilities and the start which I think unfortunately puts some runners off entering the race.

In short: A good well organised race despite the wind and cold
In full: A good ten miler to add to the race calendar. Very well organised and marshalled despite the very cold wind.
The course was good and varied and seemed to be a well attended event.

In short: A well organised race
In full: More hills than I remember from last year and the weather was a definite improvement on 2005 but the wind was still brisk at times.
