In short: Great weather, great atmosphere, good flat course, but did we really need a full bottle of water at each station?

In short: The heat and the hills outwayed by fantastic support and great organisation
In full: A really good city centre race. The loop into the park was a great contrast against the start and finish in the heart of the city. Great support down the finishing straight which had to be one of the best I have ever run down. Definitely back next year. Hats off to Preston.

In short: Very good race. Good flat course needed a 5K long wind stopper though for return leg!
In full: Small gripe being the under 40 mins start at the front being full of runners blatently not aiming for under 40 mins. Why are people so thick! On the plus side its got massive PB potential.

In short: The scenerey more than made up for the poor (ish) organisation.
In full: Quite scary dodging the cars and caravans through grange and back down borrowdale. Took my mind off how sore my legs where though. Great fun trying to get the car off the field at the end. Marshalling was terrible, water stations were great, finish on field was rubbish, atmosphere was suberb. All in all made for an intersting and memorable day. I'll be back next year.

In short: Great race and well organised.
In full: Good parking, particularly cause we got there early. A brilliant start point with spectators high up above you on the road. The 2 laps meant you got to run past the crowds at the start/finish mid way through which was a great lift and also lets you pace yourself for the second half of the race. I loved this race and can't wait till next year.
