In short: Great Fun
In full: Varied terrain through beautiful country : one or two small hills and a river to wade across if you wish. Deserves to be known better

In short: Brilliant race
In full: I agree- scenery great / marshals supportive / well organised / tough
2 observations - I'm a novice at trail running and would have benefitted from some advice on shoes - my ordinary running shoes were unsuited to some of the very narrow slippery tracks and downhill precipices.
I made the 10 mile marker and subsequent were about .4 mile short? I guess this helped us - thinking we were closer to the finish !
A great morning run anyhow

In short: Super race with a great mix of obstancles
In full: I loved every minute. For £24 I think we could have had a banana or choc bar at the end.

In short: A Great Day
In full: Superb course, beautiful weather and very well marshalled : just enough uphill bits to give you an edge and nice changes of surface
A couple of suggestions
Speed bumps at 2 mile should be marked - I tottered on one and one poor guy went smack down.
also couldn't there have been something about the race in the newspaper given at finish. A wasste of time scouring throughn it (or did I miss it ???)

In short: Good beginners race
In full: A friendly race and fun if you don't mind laps. I made it 13.0 miles - a start under the finish gantry would probably have stretched it to 13.1. My biggest disappointment was to find there is (apparantly) no complete results list like "proper" races.

In short: Let's hear it for the results team
In full: I support most of the previous comments - AND I was very impressed to have my times texted within 15 minutes of finishing. Also brilliant to have results on-line when I go back home. Even better if club runners and age groups could be sorted from results. Great day

In short: Pleasant fun run
In full: It's flat and scenic : free shower at the sports centre, a medal, drink and a T-shirt. Can't be bad. Not a PB event because of steps and narrow parts plus daffy Km markers everyone mentions. Accuracy of total distance is a bit suspect and there doesn't seem to be a results list. However as a undemanding social run in the sunshine I thought it great

In short: Sheer pleasure from start to finish
In full: A marvellous experience - glorious weather added to the brilliant and varied scenery. I'm not an orienteer but nothing beats finding you've read the map right and the check point is where you thought. I've run about 30 races a year for 10 years and this has to be one of the top 3.
