In short: A very enjoyable first 10k with plenty of people of similar abilities and speeds to make it an enjoyable experience. In full: An enjoyable first 10k, although the mixed terrain was not what I was expecting. Not a problem as I run off road a lot, but it did mean a lot of concentration was required to not slip over.
