In short: Worth doing but needs a few tweaks
In full: Agree with the general comments that better signs etc would have been useful. Course is good and the 3 laps works really well. Maybe a medal instead of a towel though as after running this race 3 years in a row I'm building up a collection that I'd rather do without. Overall, this a is pretty good race.

In short: My ten year old daughter could organise a better race !
In full: This is a fun run and not for a serious runner. The organisation was a disgrace with some very basic ommissions, such as meaningful signs, marshalling, directions and general thought as to how to organise a race. The distance was dubious too, probablly more like 10.3K and KM markers that were bordering absurd.

I'm all for charity runs etc but if you want to take £20 off every entrant then you need to provide a reasonable race experience and this was something that bordering a farce.

In short: Fantastic organisation, great course but with a couple of hills
In full: Not likely to be a PB course for the faster runners but an excellent race with organisation close to the London marathon standard !!

In short: New course is very dull
In full: The old course was much better, very disappointed with this new course and the number of times we entered the naval base and the airfield. The openness meant even a slight breeze had an effect and there were too many tight turns.

Still got a PB though so happy overall but shame about the changes to this race. Organisation and marshalling great as usual.

In short: The Marshalls are fantastic
In full: This race is very well organised and marshalled, they really seem to make the extra effort. Shame about the gates not being open as this could have caused a few issues but luckily the couple of slower runners coming the opposite way were more than happy to wait for us to come through. Good race with some genuinely nice and friendly people organising it.

In short: Good challenging run, but for a hard 10 mile run where's the medal!
In full: Good race, tough with the number of hills and therefore not a PB course but worth a try out as part of your training for another race. Well run and friendly, nice touch to have someone hose you down at the end seeing as it was a scorching hot day. My only gripe is that there's no medal. For a hard 10 mile race I think we all deserve one !

In short: Not quite PB material but a decent race
In full: Love this race, 3 laps makes it easier in my opinion but the couple of inclines and tight corners mean it's not quite a PB course. Well run and friendly throughout, I really like this race - thank you !

In short: Described as fast but too undulating to be a PB course
In full: A little late setting up the meeting / staging area, not helped by the mud and rain no doubt. The walk to the start was horrendous - surely an alternative route could have been found for those who do not know the local area ? It was a squelchy muddy trek that left me with soaking wet feet before I'd run a step. Pat on the back though for the marshalls and useful volunteers who do a fantastic job, Thank You.

In short: undulating and a tough course
In full: lot's of twists and turns, undulating and only just about a road race as long stretch on a very wet and muddy bridleway.

Very well marshalled but it needed to be as lot's of turns, corners etc.
